Helga Númadóttir is an intern at Nasiffik - Centre for Foreign & Security Policy this Spring semester 2023.

Helga Númadóttir has a BA in Anthropology from the University of Iceland - and is currently an MA candidate in Polar Law at the University of Akureyri, studying Iceland-Greenland relations.

Helga is from Iceland, and was an international guest student at Ilisimatusarfik in autumn 2022.

During her studies at the University of Akureyri, Helga has previously been an intern at the office of the biodiversity working group of the Arctic Council (CAFF), and is currently a research assistant on the project "Decolonising Nordic Archives", lead by Professor Rachael Lorna Johnstone of the Faculty of Law at the University of Akureyri and Ilisimatusarfik.
