Four book projects


The Publications Fund at Ilisimatusarfik has just provided funding for the publication of 4 exciting book projects in very different areas.

Publication of a 300-year anniversary book in Greenland 

Aage Rydstrøm-Poulsen has received funding for the publication of the 300th anniversary book for Hans Egede's arrival in Greenland. In addition, this project has also received funding from both the Tips & Lotto Foundation and from the Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik Foundation.

Distance learning as pedagogical development

Anders Øgaard has received funding for the work and publication of a book project on distance learning, which will only become more and more relevant in the future.

Greenland's Social Policy - challenges & new ways forward

Steven Arnfjord has received funding for a book publication that will bring together history and knowledge about social policy and social research in Greenland. There is a great lack of publications in this area, and the book will be able to be used especially for educational purposes.

Greenlandic translation of the book 'Displaced'

Tina Enghoff has received funding for a Greenlandic translation of the book 'Displaced', which is a story about depriving people of their roots and belonging and about losing a place and a culture.
