Nasiffik event: information about the Danish Defence's new education in Kangerlussuaq

For the first time ever, the Danish Defence has created a training program for young Greenlanders in Greenland: Arctic Basic Training.

The program is part of the political agreement between Greenland and Denmark on an Arctic Capacity Package.

Come and hear about the content of the program, our preparations to welcome the first class, and the opportunities an emergency preparedness education offers.

Arctic Basic Training is developed by Arctic Command with input from both the Greenland Police and the Emergency Response Team.

The training starts 6 May 2024 in Kangerlussuaq - but on Wednesday 11 October 2023, you will get an insight into the thinking behind it.
