Ilisimatusarfik presents SILA bachelor in biology - a unique program you can apply for now.

In Greenland, we have a special connection to nature, which is the foundation of our economy, food, culture and mental health. SILA bachelor in biology integrates all these elements into the program.

Together with Pinngortitaleriffik, Ilisimatusarfik has created a biology program that focuses on Greenlandic nature and culture - and the program includes:

• Reindeer hunting and hands-on experience with Greenlandic animal species.
• Biological studies in nature and the lab.
• Integration in the Greenlandic labor market.
• Acquiring and communicating biological knowledge.

The application deadline is 1 November 2024, and the program starts 1 February 2025.

To learn more about the program and how to apply, we invite you to information meetings - and they take place:

• 21 August 2024 from 16:00 in Pikialaarfik at Ilisimatusarfik (it's the black building).
• 28 August 2024 from 16:00 online (to join the online meeting, you must register by sending an email to Aviaja Lyberth Hauptmann at [email protected] or Liv Larsen at [email protected] - you will then receive a link to the meeting).
