SafeHarbour Greenland workshop

The project SafeHarbour Greenland hosts a workshop on Friday, 14 February 2025.
Greenland has one of the highest rates of child placement in the Nordic region.
This situation has a negative impact on the well-being of children and families, and it also constitutes a significant financial expense for society.
SafeHarbour Greenland is an ambitious project that aims to reduce the number of children placed outside the home, in a safe and sustainable way.
The project focuses on strengthening families and communities so that children can grow up in a safe and stable environment.
The team behind this project includes previously placed individuals, professionals, and researchers who have received funding for the initial work from the Arctic Research Bursary.
