Bo Morthorst Rasmussen is associate professor and research director of the program for Social Work, Management and Communication at UCSYD and one of the leaders of the National Research Center for Children and Youth in Vulnerable Positions.
Over the past 25 years of professional work with research and development projects in the field of children and young people, Bo has focused on involvement, child perspectives, interdisciplinary collaboration, placements, the normal system's inclusion, efforts in relation to sexual abuse, family houses, SSP cooperation, micro-disciplinarity, social work and social pedagogy.
Bo has participated in a number of national and international network and written a number of articles, reports and books. Throughout his career, he has focused on how children, parents and their families' needs and perspectives can and are included in the definition and solutions in social and educational work - e.g. via network inclusive methods, such as family counseling and kinship and network placements.
