Intemann specializes in ethics and philosophy of science and has published on topics such as protecting research integrity, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusivity in STEM, and increasing trust between scientists and stakeholders. She teaches biomedical ethics, environmental ethics, and research ethics and has served on ethics committees at MSU (including the Institutional Review Board and Conflicts of Interest Committee).
