It is possible to apply for admission as a single-course student on the programmes at Ilisimatusarfik.

As a single-course student, however, you must pay a participation fee, which covers the costs of tuition and three exam attempts per subject.

The participation fee does not include expenses for teaching materials, accommodation, and transportation.

The payment entitles you to attend classes during the semester(s) you have paid for, as well as to take the exam after completing the course.

The price per course is calculated based on the number of ECTS credits the course is worth once you have taken the exam.

The price for 1 ECTS credit is DKK 500,-.

The following application deadlines apply for admission as a single-course student:

• 1 June for courses in the fall semester

• 1 December for courses in the spring semester

The admission requirements are the same as if you were applying for admission as a full-time student. However, exemptions may be granted.

Please note, however, that you cannot apply for admission as a single-course student for all courses, as some require that certain courses have been passed. You can read more about the individual courses and any prerequisites in the curriculum for the programmes.

Admission in one or more individual courses does not in itself give access to take the final bachelor's or master's degree exam.

Please note that when scheduling courses, priority will be given to Ilisimatusarfik's own full-time students.

Please also note that as a single-course student, you are not eligible for educational support.
