Ilisimatusarfik's new rector appointed

Ilisimatusarfik's board has appointed Associate Professor, PhD Gitte Adler Reimer as new rector.

Gitte Adler Reimer is currently Head of the Institute of Culture, Language & History and Head of the Department of Culture & Social History.

Gitte Adler Reimer has a PhD from Ilisimatusarfik.

The choice of Gitte Adler Reimer is due to her strong academic background as a recognized researcher, her thorough knowledge of Ilisimatusarfik, and not least her experience in management.

Gitte Adler Reimer starts as rector of Ilisimatusarfik 01 December 2017.
