Visiting University of Akureyri

In early May, our rector, university director and technical director will visit University of Akureyri.

During their visit, they will learn more about University of Akureyri's experience with distance learning - and will also sign a cooperation agreement on distance learning.

University of Akureyri is well advanced in their work with distance learning - and more than half of their students participate in distance learning in one way or another.

There is no doubt that distance learning will also be part of our future work at Ilisimatusarfik - and an increased focus on distance learning will also benefit students, as you do not have to come to Ilisimatusarfik to get an education.
