New head of institute at Ilisimatusarfik

We have the pleasure of welcoming Mari Kleist to a familiar framework - now with the position as Head of the Institute for Culture, Language & History.

Mari returned to Nuuk in 2021 and got her start at Ilisimatusarfik as a researcher and associated professor at the Department of Culture & Social History.

Later in 2022, Mari took on the role as head of the department - and will now be the leading person for an institute, which is at the forefront of education and research of Greenlandic history, language and cultural developments.

We congratulate Mari with her appointment as Head of Institute.
