The application deadline for our brand new SILA bachelor in biology has now passed - and we are overwhelmed by the great interest.
With 12 new students eager to dive into Greenland's unique nature and complex ecosystems, we are now looking forward to semester start 1 February 2025 - and we can hardly wait!
SILA bachelor in biology is something truly special
Here, the 12 new students will have the opportunity to explore both the theory behind the big questions in biology - and experience the wonders of nature up close.
From exciting hands-on fieldwork in our spectacular Arctic landscapes to research in the lab, the SILA program combines the best of both worlds.
For the 12 new students, this means a future filled with opportunities, not only in Greenland, but also internationally, in everything from research and environmental management to teaching and consulting.
We are all incredibly proud to be able to offer this program that is tailored to meet the biological challenges we face today.
Greenland's unique position as an Arctic hub for climate and biodiversity research gives our students a head start in understanding and working with some of today's most pressing issues.
It is therefore a great pleasure to welcome so many new talents to the SILA program, where their journey into the world of biology can begin in earnest.
