At Centre for Arctic Welfare at Ilisimatusarfik, we are proud to announce a new training programme created to support the dedicated staff working with marginalized adults in Greenland.
This specialised course has been designed based on extensive research and experience from frontline staff in both Greenland and Denmark. Our goal is to ensure that the course meets the specific challenges and needs that these employees face in their daily work.
We plan to launch the first course already in late 2024 or early 2025 - and the course is open to all municipal employees and NGO staff working directly with vulnerable people in Greenland.
Thanks to generous funding from an international organization, we can offer this course free of charge to all participants - a unique opportunity to learn new skills and gain valuable tools to help marginalized adults in Greenland.
If you are interested in joining the course, or have any questions, please contact associate professor Kevin Perry at [email protected].
We look forward to seeing you - and together creating a more inclusive and supportive environment for Greenland's most vulnerable adults.
