The first 13 grief counselors have now graduated

In September, 13 enthusiastic participants embarked on a brand new programme in grief counseling - and they have all just celebrated passing their exams.

This makes them officially the first grief counselors from Ilisimatusarfik.

The course marks an important milestone in a strong and fruitful collaboration between Ilisimatusarfik and our partner organization.

Not a single participant has dropped out along the way - a clear sign of both the participants' dedication and the relevance of the programme.

We are already noticing the difference this new program will make for both Greenlandic professionals and people who are grieving.

The new team of grief counselors will contribute important knowledge, strong skills, and a boost to professional efforts across the country.
