First course module for outreach & shelter staff was a great success

Between 13 and 15 February 2025, the first module of the new course for outreach and shelter staff was held.

The course, which is the result of 10 years of research experience, combines the latest knowledge and theory in social work and social pedagogy with practical insights from people who have experienced homelessness themselves.

The course is aimed at staff who work with people in vulnerable life situations - such as staff in street teams, shelters, warming centers and tuberculosis detection.

The course enables participants to integrate both theoretical and experiential perspectives into their daily work supporting people in vulnerable situations.

The course highlights the development of more relationship work and outreach for professionals working with society's most vulnerable groups.
