The application deadline is over - now the hard work begins

1 March marked the application deadline for education in Greenland, and with it, an exciting and crucial phase has begun.

Ilisimatusarfik has received a stream of applications from prospective students, and now the careful work of reading, assessing and selecting from the many hopeful applicants awaits.

This period is both intense and inspiring.

Each application tells its own story - of hopes, ambitions and personal goals.

It is a privilege for Ilisimatusarfik to gain insight into the diverse backgrounds and future dreams that new applicants bring with them.

The process of reviewing applications is extensive - and our student service team is focused on ensuring that each applicant's potential is assessed thoroughly and fairly.

There are many steps before final admissions can be made - but Ilisimatusarfik is looking forward completing the work and sending out responses to all applicants by 15 May 2025.

For applicants, the wait is filled with excitement as they look forward to their educational journey.

For Ilisimatusarfik, this is a time when future generations of students will soon become part of our community and have the opportunity to shape the future of Greenland.

Once the application process is complete, the next chapter will begin, where the new students will be welcomed and given their place in the academic world at Ilisimatusarfik - a world filled with opportunities and challenges.
