On Friday 9 May, Ilisimatusarfik was transformed into an international hub as this semester's International Kaffemik offered tastes from around the world - served by our international guest students.
Over the course of an hour, scents, tastes and colors flooded campus as students and staff explored dishes from Japan, France, China, Finland and Denmark.
The event was not only an opportunity to taste exotic and homemade dishes, but also to meet students from other cultures at eye level.
Our International Kaffemik has become a recurring tradition every semester, combining Greenlandic hospitality with international impulses.
The event creates an informal space for meetings across languages and fields of study - and is also a reminder of how much diversity and internationalization enrich the study environment at Ilisimatusarfik.
With great support and curious taste buds, this semester's International Kaffemik was once again proof that community and cultural exchange can easily start over a good meal.
