Today, 1 September 2025, we are celebrating a big event at Ilisimatusarfik - it is finally time for our start of the academic year.

We have been looking forward to welcoming all our new students.

The day began with the traditional academic handshake, where our rector welcomed the new students to the academic world – just as all new students began their introduction to their new education.
