The goal is to generate knowledge about innovative educational opportunities with distance education in the elementary school, where the focus is on how student roles and teacher professionalism develop with distance education. The empirical studies are primarily conducted in Greenland, where distance education is a priority area in terms of sharing teacher resources and creating a better elementary school.
