Pinngortitaleriffik and Ilisimatusarfik are pleased to announce that we have renewed our cooperation agreement, marking a new chapter for both institutions.
The renewed agreement strengthens our shared ambition to advance research and education in Greenland through increased collaboration across disciplines.
The renewed agreement focuses on a wide range of important initiatives that will benefit students, researchers and society as a whole.
Among other things, the agreement includes:
- Interdisciplinary research & PhD projects - ensuring closer collaboration between researchers from both institutions, with a focus on cutting-edge research.
- Joint seminars & conferences - we will organize a series of knowledge sharing events that promote dialogue on current research areas and issues.
- Establishment of SILA bachelor in biology in Pikialaarfik - a significant step towards expanding educational opportunities in biology in Greenland.
- Affiliation of Pinngortitaleriffik researchers at SILA bachelor in biology - ensuring that students have access to expert knowledge from leading researchers during their educational program.
- Involving Pinngortitaleriffik in the development of SILA bachelor in biology - a collaboration that ensures that the educational program is relevant and at the forefront of the latest research.
- Organizing joint public events - to raise awareness and engagement of science and research in society at large.
- Collaboration on the development of Campus 2 - a long-term project to expand the existing Ilimmarfik campus and strengthen the framework for both research and teaching.
