On Friday, April 4th, our journalism students got a unique chance to try their hand at one of the most demanding disciplines in the profession - a solo interview with a top politician.
The Danish Prime Minister, Mette Frederiksen, posed for an interview where our journalism students were given exclusive access to ask questions and control the conversation.
It was a valuable learning situation where our students had to demonstrate their ability to prepare thoroughly, ask incisive questions and handle a high-level interviewee.
The experience gave them a realistic insight into what it is like to work as a journalist and how to balance curiosity, precision and timing in an interview.
Our students put in an impressive effort and their dedication and professionalism was noticed.
The exercise was a great success and we look forward to seeing how they use the experience in the future.
A huge thank you to the Prime Minister for giving our students this unique opportunity!
