I am a PhD student at Ilisimatusarfik, where I am conducting research into the prevention of sexual abuse of children and young people in Greenland.

The project combines local and traditional knowledge with national prevention strategies and international research to develop new, culturally grounded approaches to protecting children and young people.

My research is based on fieldwork in local communities and analyses of the social, political and cultural structures that shape prevention efforts across the country.

I hold a Master’s degree in Cultural and Social History and have extensive experience in both research administration and practical work with children and young people, which provides me with a strong interdisciplinary foundation, as well as knowledge of Arctic international research and policy.
