Mitdlarak Lennert becomes new pro-rector at Ilisimatusarfik

Ilisimatusarfik will have a new pro-rector on 1 October. The Board has approved the appointment of Mitdlarak Lennert, who is already a well-known figure at the university.

Mitdlarak Lennert is an assistant professor in the Department of Arctic Social Science & Economics and, since completing her PhD at Ilisimatusarfik in 2021, has contributed to research, teaching and the development of Ilisimatusarfik’s degree programmes. With her in-depth knowledge of Ilisimatusarfik's academic environment and Greenlandic society, she brings strong academic and strategic skills to her new role.

As part of her transition to the post of pro-rector, Mitdlarak will continue to fulfil and complete her teaching and other duties at the Department of Arctic Social Science & Economics during the current semester.
